Learning The Judo Kata

What is the Judo Kata?

The Katas main purposes are to display basic principles of judo, demonstrate proper execution of a technique, to teach philosophical in addition to preserving ancient techniques that are historical important to development of judo.  It is a teaching tool, a learning tool, demonstration tool, tool to maintain tradition and a tool to develop new techniques and ideas.
